Mother’s Day During Lock Down

Designed this in honour of Mother’s Day… Inspired by my friend’s Monika’s design!

Mother’s Day was normally a day that many folks would go out to restaurants to have a meal with their family.

But not this year…. Covid-19 caused many restaurants to only do take-out or delivery orders over here in our area. Sadly, some restaurants even had to closed permanently.

This Mother’s Day, we preordered a 2-person brunch through delivery, which actually was plenty of food for the children too!

To top it all off, our relative dropped off a high-tea platter later that day…. Apparently, they had to wait more than an hour later to pick up, as everything was backordered!

I was so grateful!
