Who Is Jelly Bing Desserts?

When and why did you start your business? We first started our journey in November of 2021 as a side project. We wanted to bring Asian desserts to the small community of White Rock, where Asian desserts/cuisines were very under-represented. However, it didn’t work out as we expected since we didn’t have the budget to sustain all the costs related to opening a physical store, so we decided to sell online first.
What was your background? We’re just a group of friends that grew up together and decided to start a business together. We all have a passion for food so that’s why we decided on a dessert business.
What is special about your products?We’re all group of vegetarians so all of our products are made vegetarian. It was a challenge to find an alternative to gelatin-based puddings and still have the same texture so it took us more than a year to fine-tune our recipes.
What else do you want to share? Sustainability and quality ingredients is at the top of our minds. That’s why we opted to use glass jars instead of plastic. And we’re proud of the fact that we only use whole food ingredients with zero chemicals in our products
