As a mom of two, I get to read to my little ones a lot of fun and educational books. I didn’t get back into reading novels till my older child decided to borrow novels for me from the local public library.
“Mom, you will like these books….”

Women of Worth: Moms in Business
This book makes my jump for joy because I felt so connected to these amazing mompreneurs! As a WAHM, SAHM or Working Mom, I know first hand how tough it is and how society demands so much from us. Seriously, this book makes me shed a joyful tear….
The Empath’s Survival Guide
I am an Empath, with a capital E.
After an extensive counselling session with my counsellor a few years back, she highly recommended me to read this book. So, I bought it.
It warms my heart by teaching me how to protect my heart.
Nobunny’s Perfect
Friendships are not easy to maintain and this cute book reminds us that nobody’s perfect!
I love Anna Dewdney’s Llama Llama series, I just had to read this to my little ones back then.
Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone
After watching all the Harry Potter movies, I finally decided to pick up “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” What was all that hype about back then? I loved the movies so I really wanted to find out ….
Little Miss Hug
As a small first grader, I was obsessed with the works of Roger Hargreaves’ Little Miss and Mister series. So when I saw this book, I just had to read this!

Lovely list! The Empath’s Survival Guide definitely catches my eye. I don’t think I’m quite an empath, but I’m sensitive enough it would probably be good for me. š
