Book Review: What The Seal Saw

Summary

This children’s book was about the adventures of this seal. Beautiful and whimsical drawings that were not overly stimulating to children. The story was written like a poem which helped with practicing rhythm.

This book used dyslexic-friendly font and was a very calming book to the reader. It focused on being empathetic to our environment.

“Every scene in this book is taken from real-life observations of the behaviours of seals in Semiahmoo Bay, British Columbia.”—-

Conclusion

I enjoyed reading this to the younger children that were placed in my care. They found it very intriguing. Definitely a great book to add to your collection!

Tip: For educators, there is also a lesson plan too!
