Summary
If she touched you, Kadence could see how you would die. Not when or even where, just how… As a little girl, she tried so hard to tell others when she saw her brother die. No one believed her, until he really died and she was the suspect. She was convicted and sent to juvenile hall.
Then, one day, someone finally listened and believed that she had the power to foresee death. She was going to leave this prison and be free! But, at what cost? Why would anyone believe her and want to save her?
Conclusion
This book combined Greek mythology and the darker sides of human nature. The constant search to differentiate good and evil, right and wrong could be confusing and difficult at times. What one might believe was correct might also be wrong in another sense.
