Movie Review: Palm Springs

Summary

Sarah was the older sister and maid of honour at her sister’s wedding. Nyles was the boyfriend of one of the bride’s guests. When Nyles stepped in and gave an amazing speech instead of the unprepared Sarah, they became acquainted. After spending the rest of the evening chatting, Nyle’s suddenly got shot by an arrow and he crawled into a weird cave. Despite his protests, Sarah’s curiosity propelled her forward and she was drawn into the time loop……

Conclusion

This movie used the topic of being stuck in time and the search of one’s true self in such a creative way. Although the idea of repeating the same day over and over again had been used before, the way the story played out had some interesting twists.
