Shinkansen Train From Osaka To Tokyo

Waking up early to catch the “bullet train” to Tokyo! How exciting! It was going to be a long ride….

Lunch On The Train

Before we left to board the train, we dropped by the nearby restaurant, Kobe Bifutekitei Deli, around the station to pick up some lunch boxes. Kobe beef was their specialty.

“Kobe beef is Wagyu beef from the Tajima strain of Japanese Black cattle, raised in Japan’s Hyōgo Prefecture according to rules set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association. The meat is a delicacy, valued for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture.“—Wikipedia

I also bought a Strawberry cream puff as my dessert from a 7-11 at the station.

The seats were very comfortable with lots of leg room. The pullout table was the perfect size to enjoy our lunchboxes.

I was lucky to be able to take a quick picture of Mount Fuji. The clouds were not too thick that day.
