The weather was getting steamy hot…..
I was looking for some cold food to eat to combat the hot weather. The image of a enormous beer mug looked intriguing. The “beer ramen” was perfect! It was chewy ramen in cold savoury broth. There was no real beer here….. This large beer mug of ramen arrived with with a large portion of vegetable fritters.
In addition to the Beer Ramen, we also ordered the Shio Ramen, chicken fritters and gyozas for the little people. Adding an extra $2.50 made the bowl much larger with an additional portion of ramen noodles.
Next, the pana cotta “udon” caught my attention on the menu. Imagine seeing noodle-looking jellies at the bottom of a sweet, cold drink…. How odd!
Panna cotta is an Italian dessert of sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded. The cream may be aromatized with coffee, vanilla, or other flavorings.—-Wikipedia
They were like noodles, but in pudding form, that took a little bit of trial and error to eat with the straw. However, it was a great topping to go with the Hokkaido milk tea.
Finally, before I left, I ordered the BOGO Shake Ramen which was the limited time special! One Pigs In Garlic and one Creamy Shiracha to go!
