Netflix Series Review: October Factions

Summary

Parents are constantly working hard to make ends meet and to provide for the family. The Allen’s are no different from any other parents except for their occupation as monster hunters.

Themes

1) Monsters are real: Sometimes the real monsters are the people in the world….

2) Every family has their own problems: Parents have their own ways to bring up their children. In this story, the first generation and second generation have conflicting views of bringing up the twins. The grandparents taught their own children that monsters are real and how to fight. The parents tried to hide this from the twins to keep their lives normal.

Yay Or Nay

This was one series that had many twists and turns. I enjoyed watching the interactions and connections between the parents and the twins. Throw in some monsters and combat scenes, it was one exciting series that I binged right through….
