Winter weather makes my skin drier than usual, so prefer to use oils in my daily skincare regime. There are so many out there, but currently there are four that are in rotation in my beauty shelf.
The ingredients of each oil are from their own websites. Remember to look at the packaging of each product for most up to date list of ingredients.
The main ingredients:
“Organic Phaeophyta Seaweeds, Coconut and Sunflower Oils.”
It is unscented and can be used from head to toe! This oil blend contains absolutely no preservatives either.
I can blend it with other products or use alone.
This face oil contains:
“Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Organic Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil*, Organic Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Fruit Oil*, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Natural Fragrance Oils. “
The design uses a dropper which sometimes harden and becomes difficult to squeeze out the oil. However, I like sea buckthorn oil!
I wish they would list out the fragrance oils too.
This face oil contains:
-“rosa canina seed extract (Rosehip seed extract), simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, fragrance (Natural fragrance), oenothera biennis (evening primrose) seed extract, borago officinalis seed oil, triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, corylus avellana (hazel) seed oil, tocopherol, calendula officinalis flower oil, camellia sinensis leaf extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, beta-carotene, canola oil, glycine soja (soybean) oil, ascorbyl palmitate, retinyl palmitate, limonene, linalool.”
The design of this bottle has a fancier top. A couple ingredients that I am not too keen on was canola and soybean oil. I like that they contain evening primrose and borage oil though.
This body and scalp oil contains:
-“ Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil , Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil , Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil , Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides , Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil , Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil , Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil , Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil , Tocopherol , Fragrance (Parfum) , Citral , Geraniol , Linalool , Coumarin , Limonene”
The top of this oil works like an essential oil, so it harder to drip out more at one time. I like that they used some essential oils like bergamot, lavender and rosemary which are great for the scalp.
I am curious what other fragrances are in it too.
Well, there you have it! I hope my quick review of these four oils gives you some ideas!
